Food Intolerance

Hey There!

Do you know what causes food intolerances?

Food intolerance is a detrimental reaction, often delayed, to a food, beverage, food additive, or compound found in foods that produces symptoms in one or more body organs and systems, but generally refers to reactions other than food allergy. A food intolerance is caused by your body not being able to digest a certain food or an ingredient in food.

The most common food intolerance is Lactose intolerance. This is when your body is not able to digest lactose, a type of sugar mainly found in milk and dairy products such as cheese and yoghurts.
